Dedicating this post to Madonna for all she does to heal and love people through her music which has inspired me since I was a child. Been lucky enough to see her perform live three times. Once at Wembley Stadium on her Re-Invention tour in 2004.  Boy can Madonna put on a show as ‘m sure you all know. It was an awesome mix of stunning visual effects both on screen and on stage with very clever acrobatic performers, and of course sizziling-like-lightening  energy from Madonna. The second time I saw her perform, I felt very privilaged to be able to see her act in Up For Grabs West-end play in London’s Wyndham Theatre. I was hugely impressed with her performance and loved feeling close to her in the more intimate theatre surroundings compared to the impersonal nature of a stadium concert. More recently I was lucky enough to see her live at Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh during her current, MDNA tour. Absolutely brilliant show, having managed to get golden circle tickets we were right next to the stage and got there early enough to see Madonna and crew warming up which was a rare treat. I danced so much that my feet and legs ached the next day and sang along to all the songs. A night I will never forget.

Her songs melt hearts with her lyrics and the resonance of her voice. Although you know she isn’t, it can feel like she’s singing directly to you. I suppose everyone feels that about favourite music that touches them in a personal way. Madonna’s lyrics are incredibly personal though and I relate to them to the point that they move me and I sometimes find myself, tears in my eyes singing along to, for example, ‘Frozen’.

I think Madonna is a very sensitive person that has deep feelings and can get hurt easily which is possibly disguised by her confidence and great sense of humour. As a highly sensitive person myself, I think it’s easy to sometimes, hide behind a strong outer shell. It’s only those that get very close that get to see the real, soft you. Hope I get to see her live again sometime and God-willing meet her one day. I’d like to sing, dance…and chat to her about the world and beyond…

Not surprisingly her new album MDNA went to no.1 in many countries across the world including USA and UK and is getting great reviews. I wonder if Madonna and the  producers she works with, including the amazing William Orbit, play around with healing frequencies within her music. Would be interesting to know…

My Italian, late uncle Achiel, God rest his soul,  told me that we are related to  Madonna by marriage. Wow! He wasn’t sure of the details sadly. Would love to find out.

“The reason for the huge decline in bee numbers has remained uncertain, but pesticides, the varroa mite and other parasites, and destruction of the flower-rich habitats in which bees feed are believed to be the key reasons. Pesticide manufacturers and the UK government deny a class of the chemicals called neonicotinoids cause significant problems for bees, but Germany, Italy and France have suspended key insecticides over such fears. “
